MEET JOE TRACY
A Champion for Families, Committed to Real Change
Rooted in Community
Born and raised in Chicago, I have proudly called Palatine home since 1992. My wife and I raised our four children here, all of whom graduated from our local District 15 and District 211 schools. Like you, I am deeply invested in the success and safety of our community.
Proven Experience
My career spans over four decades across the private, non-profit, and government sectors. From my early years with Jewel Foods and my time as an Assistant Administrator in adult health services to my 30-year tenure with the State of Illinois, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of how government functions—and where it fails. Having held both union and non-union positions, I understand the challenges facing workers and taxpayers alike.
My Commitment to You
Now that I am retired, I am running to bring common sense and accountability back to Illinois government.
Fiscal Responsibility:
Illinois taxpayers work hard for their money and deserve a better return on their investment. Constantly asking families to pay more is not the solution; we must focus on efficiency and smarter spending.
Public Safety: I am committed to keeping our communities safe and hold an unwavering support for our first responders and law enforcement.
I am ready to use my experience to work for you. Let’s build a better, more affordable Illinois together.
